Project Overview

The West Coast Power Supply Upgrade consists of works to enhance and reinforce the traction electrification infrastructure on the West Coast Main Line (WCML) to increase the available power and enhance train services. Phase 3A covers the southern section of the WCML from North Wembley to Whitmore (North Staffordshire).

The scope of works include;

- Installation of HV Cable Route
- Installation of GRP
- Installation of Troughing

Staffing Specification

Civil Rail Solutions first began working on the WCML PSU back in February 2013 and provided the Civils based labour for the project. Our staff have been working on the Installation of HV Cable Route, Installation of GRP, Installation of Troughing and other line side civils works. Civil Rail Solutions will continue to provide Balfour Beatty with the following trades throughout the project:
